He was saved at the age of 7 and was led to the Lord by his father. He has attended church all his life and was guided through life by his loving parents. In his teen years, he felt the call to preach while attending a youth camp in the summer time. Even though the call was evident, he strayed from God and ran away from that calling placed upon his life. It was not until the early part of 2006 that he rededicated his life to the Lord and completely surrendered to the call of being a Pastor. He often tells others the importance of never straying or backsliding from the Lord.

Pastor Menzer completed his Bachelor's of Religious Education at Midwestern Baptist College, Pontiac Michigan, under the leadership of Dr. Tom Malone Sr. Pastor Menzer was ordained by Pastor Thurman Holmes, Pastor of Downriver Baptist Church in Wyandotte MI, on May 25, 2008. In June of 2008, Pastor Menzer became the Associate Pastor of Taylor Center Baptist Church. Due to the retirement of the former Pastor, Pastor Menzer was voted in as Senior Pastor of TCBC on February 1, 2009. It is here that Pastor Menzer has been led and called by God and His people. With the leadership of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Menzer continues to work for the Lord. His passion to "preach the word" is what he loves to do and will continue to do as long as God stays His coming!
